Wedding Guest books

For weddings, guestbooks are a customary part of every wedding. However, many guestbooks are put away in a closet to collect dust not long afterwards, and are never be looked at again. So, to rectify this, try to chose the style of the books you’ll want to look at time and time again to preserve the wedding memories. Regular guestbooks come in a variety of shapes, styles, and colors. So finding just the right one can be a fun experience.

There are also other ideas for guestbooks that aren’t often used, and are often a welcome change from regular kind. One idea is to buy an unfired platter or bowl from a pottery shop in your town and have everyone sign it. Afterwards, you can have it glazed to insure that this type guestbook lasts.

Another idea would be to take quilt squares and have the guests write messages or just sign names on each square. How you have them sign this guestbook can be unique in itself. You can use pen, or have the names embroidered on after a pen signature has been made on the quilt. And you don’t have to have it done by hand: there are machines that will do it for you.

All of these ideas are designed to keep your guestbook special to you, as a happy reminder of your wedding. There are many more possibilities out there for guestbooks, and we hope you can find one that’s specific to you and your fiancé’s tastes. The option of the traditional guestbook may also be what you are looking for in a keepsake that you will hopefully keep in times to come.
