Wedding Invitations

When planning your wedding, it’s essential to make sure you make the invitations for all of the guests you want to have attend. Look around at the many different stores that manufacture invitations to see the various styles and options available. Make sure, before making any decisions, to check up on the price per invitation from each store, along with any extra costs that may rise up. This way, you won’t be left in the dark or surprised when you get the bill.

Choosing a invitation style can be difficult, so its often very helpful to start the search early in the planning stage. Once you’ve found the perfect style, ink color, font, etc, make sure you double check everything on the invitations, especially the places where the reception is located at, dates, and times. There’s nothing more embarrassing then to have a invitation be littered with various misspellings and errors. Even the tiniest misspelling on the invitation could lead to huge problems.

Then, while ordering the Wedding Invitations, make sure you have the exact number of invitations needed, as well as ordering around twenty five to fifty extra. This is for any people you forgot to invite. Otherwise, you may have to spend the time placing a new order that could cost just as much as your regular invitations did.

While waiting for your invitations to be finished, ask for the envelopes so you can begin addressing them. This will make the delivery for the invitations fast and easy. Envelopes should be written in blue or black ink, preferably handwritten for a personal touch, as well as having your return address. An RSVP on the invitations might also be a welcome addition to them. Although it’s true many people don’t RSVP, it will help you get a more accurate number of how many people will be attending.

Then, once you have fully completed the invitations, it’s time to send them out. Invitations should be sent out no later then four to six weeks before the wedding to insure that everyone gets their own invitation, as well as allowing time or any extra invitations that may be sent later.
